Cacapon State Park Project Advances

(October 3, 2014) — Morgan County Commissioner Stacy Dugan issued the following statement about the push to expand Cacapon State Park:
“Good news to share! The WV Legislature finished our regular session last week and a week-long extended session.
“The $24 million project for improvements at Cacapon State Park was finalized. The project includes a 79-room lodge addition with a spa and pool. This is great news for Morgan County and our struggling tourism industry. A great legislative victory. I am hopeful we can begin the groundbreaking very soon. A big thanks to everyone that has worked to move this project forward!”
