2018 Community Picnic Pictures are Posted
(July 22, 2018) – The POA continued its annual tradition of a community picnic in 2018, and many members joined in the fun. Pictures from the picnic are now posted.
The event was held midday on June 9th at the Nature Center Pavillon in Cacapon State Park. The buffet table was filled with delicious pot-luck offerings, as is the tradition. And the volunteer chefs at the grill provided the best hot dogs and hamburgers.
A special thanks to Jim and Jeri Mahan for organizing the event and to all the other volunteers recruited to help.
About sixty people attended this year, and everyone had a delightful time. It was a great example of our community spirit! We all look forward to the next gathering in 2019
