Thanks to Donna Bender, we have another fine collection of photos to remember our annual community picnic. The collection features neighbors in our traditional street-group photos, as well as plenty of candids of neighbors having a great time together on a sunny day
We gathered at the Nature Center Pavillion at Cacapon State Park, and this year our 50-50 raffle featured a giveaway of prizes: ten lovely rustic centerpieces that double as “honey do” note holders. An active corn-hole game drew people out to the lawn next to the picnic tables for gameplay.
A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped with set-up, decorations, and clean-up duties, and for all the delicious picnic foods everyone contributed to the pot-luck. Grill duties featured Thom Rubel keeping the coals hot and the burgers and dogs warm.
